Where People Matter

I often say I can just survive on vegetables and more vegetables on my plate. I am such salad-freak and often wonder why don’t we have enough Salad bars in our city. Especially, when every Arora aunty and Sharma uncle now count calories while dining out. So here comes, the god-sent salad & sandwich bar called the Bombay Salad Co. It may be a small outlet tucked in the lane next to Mini Punjab but it boasts of the largest menu of made-from-scratch warm and cold salad. There are gluten-free wraps, smoothies, soups, and juices also on the menu. I have tried almost everything they have on their menu with a green dot. I have tried almost most of their salads with all the variations, and trust me I have never been disappointed. The biggest trick in running Salad Bar is, that the fruits and veggies are so honest that they can tell their story as soon as you take that first bite. The lettuce would cry on its state if it is not handled properly and Avacado can make you puke, just in case it is old and stale.

At Bombay Salad Co. the food comes on the table, and it talks to you in all its freshness and zest. The place is a favourite amongst all the working diners who step out during their lunch-break for hearty meal and sutta. Weekends too get busy, but it is certainly worth trying.

My ratings for the place would be:

Food: 4.8/5

Ambience: 4/5

Dessert: 3.5/5

People: Ofcourse very efficient.
